7aki Business Podcast, now 25 episodes in!

I'm excited to reintroduce you to our Podcast, 7aki Business, now 25 episodes in!

It’s been almost a year and a half now, yet a few months after the launch, when the brutal Zionist genocide began, we, like many other content creators, stopped and became consumed with watching our people being exterminated in the most vicious ways we could have imagined—and mostly never could’ve.

When we were considering a comeback, what pushed us the most was the need to contribute in a manner that could advocate for more independence from Western dominance over our lives, economies, and communities above everything else.

The podcast has been a very unique journey for me on different levels, an intersection of several specialties, realms of knowledge, and a stack of skills. From how it brought me here and what it taught me along the way.

There is something about transporting your experience and knowledge into an audio and video format for an audience that challenges you enormously. It challenges you to communicate in a completely different manner when compared to writing, for example. The richness that a conversational audio/visual experience promises its audience is not easy to produce in a way that captures their attention.

Another key aspect for someone with 25 years of experience, like myself, is the ability to bring forth insights and synthesis not just from one’s specialty, but from every encounter, client project, and personal venture. Additionally, the conversations we had while preparing each episode allowed us to learn significantly from each other along the way.

Though this was not the first podcast I produced in an audio/visual format, working on it week in and week out did challenge my production skills.

Moataz and I often joke about our "non-existent marketing, social media, and production teams," but we take pride in having managed everything ourselves for the past year and a half!

As we’re taking a late summer break in preparation for the new season, I invite you again to subscribe to our social media channels and, more importantly, to listen to a few episodes and give us your feedback now that we have a website up with all the links ready!
